Από την πολύ σημαντική σειρά με Μονές του αγίου Όρους του Μόσχου, η “Μονή Αγίου Παύλου” γίνεται αντιληπτή μέσα από το κλίμα των αναζητήσεων της γενιάς ’30 με στοιχεία της τέχνης του Τάσσου, του Σεμερτζίδη και άλλων. Ο Μόσχος στο συγκεκριμένο χαρακτικό δίνει έμφαση στο ρόλο του φωτός, στα γραμμικά θέματα και τη στερεομετρική αντίληψη του χώρου, καθώς και στη λεπτομερειακή απόδοση του θέματος. Εντυπωσιάζουν δε, η σχεδιαστική καθαρότητα, η τεχνική αρτιότητα και η δυνατότητα μετάπλασης του θέματος με βάση τις αξίες της βυζαντινής τέχνης.

From the very important series of Monasteries of the holy Mount of Moschos, the “Monastery of Saint Paul” is perceived through the climate of the searches of the generation of the ’30s with elements of the art of Tassos, Semertzidis and others. Moschos in this engraving emphasizes the role of light, linear themes and the stereometric perception of space, as well as the detailed rendering of the subject. The purity of the design, the technical perfection and the possibility of transforming the theme based on the values of Byzantine art are impressive.
