Jhon Gogaberishvili | Dance

Its title is “Dance”, it consists of 4 pieces of marble, and a base with a total 520x300x100cm. It was constructed with hard and systematic work of less than a month, a real attainment of lots of tons! Parts of the complex are coloured, stylizing the outcome in an extreme way, while different textures are accomplished even with the same block of marble through thorough polishing in different angles. The actual “motion” of the figures is essential to the appearance of the complex. The balance kept is even more remarkable if you consider that issues not only of form and style but of physical load also are to be taken into careful consideration, while designing and further when applied onto the actual blocks.
