The Brotherhood was re-established in 1964 as a continuation of the corresponding one that had been founded in Pontus in 1869. Its main purposes were the collection and preservation of the folklore and linguistic material, the manners, customs and traditions of the pontian culture and the help of the needy children of Kromneoi. In general, the fraternity focuses its interest on the education and development of the historical memory of the new generation of Pontians.
The Folklore Museum, with hundreds of exhibits, can be visited by students, researchers and other interested.

Η Αδελφότητα επανιδρύθηκε το 1964 ως συνέχεια της αντίστοιχης που είχε ιδρυθεί στον Πόντο το 1869. Είχε ως κύριους σκοπούς τη συγκέντρωση και διατήρηση του λαογραφικού και γλωσσολογικού υλικού, των ηθών, εθίμων και παραδόσεων του ποντιακού πολιτισμού και τη βοήθεια των άπορων παιδιών των Κρωμναίων. Γενικά, η αδελφότητα εστιάζει το ενδιαφέρον της στην εκπαίδευση και ανάπτυξη της ιστορικής μνήμης της νέας γενιάς των Ποντίων.
Το Λαογραφικό Μουσείο, με εκατοντάδες εκθέματα, μπορούν να επισκέπτονται μαθητές, ερευνητές και άλλοι ενδιαφερόμενοι.
