He was born in Manjikert, Caucasus and graduated from the Theological School in Tbilisi, where he was a classmate of Joseph Stalin. He was hierarchical head of the Holy Temple of the Transfiguration of the Savior of Kalamaria in the period 1922-1965. Under his robe he always had a multi-page notebook with information about all his parishioners. His bust is located in the courtyard of the Temple of the Transfiguration of the Savior.

Γεννήθηκε στο Μαντζικέρτ του Καυκάσου και αποφοίτησε από τη Θεολογική Σχολή της Τιφλίδας, όπου υπήρξε συμμαθητής του Ιωσήφ Στάλιν. Διετέλεσε ιερατικός προϊστάμενος στον ιερό Ναό Μεταμορφώσεως του Σωτήρος την περίοδο 1922-1965. Κάτω από το ράσο του είχε πάντα ένα σημειωματάριο πολλών σελίδων με πληροφορίες για όλους τους ενορίτες του. Η προτομή του βρίσκεται στην αυλή του Ναού Μεταμορφώσεως του Σωτήρος.
